The Nokia N96 has a pretty hefty reputation to live up to. The N95 was a true powerhouse, and the finest converged device of its time. With a 5 megapixel camera, 3G data, the powerful S60 UI and eventually 8GB of internal memory there were few devices that could compete with it, and arguably no one could do it as well.
In came the Nokia N96 16GB. Not only has tons of internal memory, it also allows you to expand it even further with the microSD card slot. The large 2.8 inch LCD display is perfect for gaming, movies, photos and web browsing. The built-in 5MP camera with flash makes this an excellent phone and camera combination that is practical. Use the built-in GPS and maps for over 100 countries, and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi, HSDPA (EU / AS only), and EDGE. The N96 also has the dual-slide feature, which was widely popular in the N95 series. It even has an accelerometer with auto rotate for more efficient web browsing and landscaping movies. The flip-out stand lets you prop the phone up for perfect movie watching angles!
